Sixth Church is a branch of The Mother Church, and adheres to a constitutional form of government outlined in The Manual of the Mother Church. Our branch church was started in a private home with a small group of members in 1917.
The members democratically govern themselves, as our Pastors are the books, the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. Elected members read from these books at both our services. We also use these books for study and prayer. Students of Christian Science are all developing their relationship with God individually.
And like other Christian Science churches we offer a free lecture or talk on an aspect of Christian Science during the year. These events are open to the public and will be posted on our Events page.
